Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using the FMCAS website (www.fmcas.org), mobile applications, or any services offered by the Farmers Consortium for Agriculture and Allied Sector ("FMCAS," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of our platform immediately. These terms apply to all visitors, members, farmers, FPOs, federations, corporate partners, traders, and government institutions using our services.

FMCAS (Farmers Consortium for Agriculture and Allied Sector) is India's national federation of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), dedicated to empowering farmers through cooperative action, technology transfer, and market linkage.

Our platform connects farmers, FPOs, state federations, corporates, traders, and government institutions to build a sustainable agricultural ecosystem. FMCAS is registered and operates in compliance with applicable Indian laws and regulations governing agricultural bodies and cooperatives.

FMCAS membership is open to:

• Individual farmers engaged in agricultural or allied activities
• Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) registered under applicable laws
• State-level and national-level federations of FPOs
• Corporate entities involved in agriculture, agri-inputs, or allied sectors
• Traders dealing in agricultural commodities
• Government institutions and bodies engaged in agricultural development

To become a member, you must:

• Submit accurate and complete information during the registration process
• Comply with FMCAS membership criteria and guidelines
• Pay applicable membership fees as notified from time to time
• Abide by the FMCAS Code of Conduct and these Terms

FMCAS reserves the right to accept or reject any membership application without providing reasons.

FMCAS provides the following services through its platform and network:

• FPO activity coordination and capacity building
• Retail, seed, fertilizer, and agri-input facilitation
• Farmer advisory and consultation services
• Procurement and auction business facilitation
• Market linkage and trade facilitation
• Access to tenders and government schemes
• Networking events, workshops, and training programs

Some services are currently under development and marked "Coming Soon." FMCAS does not guarantee the availability or uninterrupted operation of any service and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time.

All content on the FMCAS platform, including but not limited to the logo, brand name, text, images, videos, reports, data, graphics, and software, is the intellectual property of FMCAS or its licensors and is protected under Indian intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute FMCAS content without prior written permission
• Use FMCAS trademarks, logos, or brand elements for commercial purposes
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from our platform using automated tools
• Create derivative works based on FMCAS proprietary content

Members may use FMCAS materials strictly for internal, non-commercial purposes related to their agricultural activities, as permitted under membership guidelines.

Users and members of the FMCAS platform agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Engage in activities that harm FMCAS, other members, or third parties
• Use the platform for unauthorized commercial solicitation or spam
• Upload or share malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any organization
• Interfere with the technical operation of the FMCAS platform

FMCAS reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found in violation of these conduct guidelines.

FMCAS and its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform
• Loss of agricultural produce, business, revenue, or profits
• Decisions made based on information, advisory, or data provided by FMCAS
• Technical failures, outages, or data loss on the platform
• Actions or omissions of third-party partners, traders, or service providers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FMCAS's total liability shall not exceed the membership fees paid by the member in the preceding 12 months.

FMCAS reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your membership or access to the platform if:

• You breach these Terms & Conditions or FMCAS policies
• You fail to pay applicable membership fees
• Your conduct is deemed harmful to FMCAS, its members, or the agricultural community
• You provide fraudulent or misleading information during registration or operation

Upon termination, your right to access FMCAS services ceases immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive termination.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.

FMCAS reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified via the website or registered email. Continued use of services after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
